The city belonged to me at Isenburger Schloss, Offenbach. 05-08.12.24 two channel video installation 2.34 mins, color, no sound patterend paper on columns and pedestals, various dimensions text on paper This slideshow is a visual exploration of travelling throughout history. Archival images are combined in pairs. These images connect cities across the continent while reflecting on past female travellers on those same routes. The marbled pattern of the wrapped elements within the installation mirrors the historic interior design of railway cars. Accompanying the video is a text composed in the vain of a fragmented travelogue that incorporates appropriated text.
